I dont think there are any rules on announcing a split.
INSP announced split within couple of months of IPO. I wish
VERT did the same.

Somehow I thought VERT is losing momentum. We dont hear
any big news, and it did not run up one bit the whole of
this week. So, I decided to take my profits at 98$ today
and move on from here.

I will stay on sidelines and watch, maybe buyback at some
decent price.

Good luck to you.

In my opinion to try and time these net stocks can be dangerous. Not just VERT was down today all net stocks were...I just think VERT is following the momentum of the others. I got in at $100 and will hold for a while... Let's hope we get some good coverage that will fuel a rally.
