Tony, I think its important Intel makes a strong, positive impression next week, not so much for the stock price, but to convey that they will be a leader in the PC/Server/Networking/E-Commerce space. It seems Intel is prone to FUD created by sell-side analysts (same old story, price cuts, more competition, no growth, etc.) Did you read what Gerstner said today? According to Gerstner, IBM was/is/will be the dominant player in E-commerce. Anyway, it made a good impression, and perception is important. Sometimes, I wish Barrett et al. would be a little more agressive with their forecasts. I'm in Intel for the long-term so it doesn't matter to me.

As for diversification, I bought most of my Cisco about 5 years ago :-) Best investment I ever made. I used to own tons of IBM when i worked there throught their ESOP plan. I sold a bit too soon, but put the money in Lucent & Dell, so I can't complain too much!
