Jon, Scammer sound interesting. Do you track real-time or end-of-day data? 5,000 symbols sounds like a chunk for real time. I wonder how long it would take StockScanner (my app) to load 5,000 symbols in QFeed? Hmmm... :-) Since I'm looking for momentum stocks, I'm not sure that I'd need the whole 5,000. 4,999 would probably do the trick! Actually, I suspect that I need monitor no more than 200-300 stocks at one time. The 130 or so that I monitor now keeps me busy. Send a PM for detailed or sensitive issues if you would like.
