Thanks for straightening me out on the bits and bytes (:-) Of course, with QFeed, there is less of a reason for wanting to monitor all of NASDAQ, because they seem to provide excellent filtering mechanisms on the server. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the hot lists QCharts can generate. Still, there's nothing like one's own personal filters tailored to your trading style. That's why I've been searching so hard for a reliable DDE link. Talnet has just not worked reliably enough for me, at least through PC Quote. Esteban
