Jeffrey, prior 1997 Q1, THQI was trading above 30x to as high as 60x EPS, then fell back to 20s times for awhile (2nd offering???). When I first bought THQ, the p/e was in the mid 20s. By end of 1997, p/e approaching low 30s again. So THQI's price had materialized based on a respectful valuation in past 3 1/2 years. It was the WCW and small cap problems that disturbed the THQ uptrend in 98 Summer. Of course, we should also thanks those ignorant analysts and its followers, especially those still use the term Toy Headquarters.
