Thanks. There was some abuse handed out regarding my opinions and facts. I thought I was giving profitable information. This is one of the best information threads around and I have learned more than I have given. That said, I have done well in my Iridium position and I hope I helped in moving many people out of the way of this fast moving train to nowhere. I asssumed (incorrectly at the moment) that Iridium's problems would weigh heavily on Globalstar via guilt by association. Iridium's problems will have an impact on satellite financing. This comes at a time when capacity and rates for launch and in orbit insurance are poised to rise after the recent series of failures. This is not good news for the industry as a whole. It seems the market has been smarter than I gave it credit for. I think that has a lot to do with John Malone and the belief that he will be an investor in the sat arena. Loral or Globalstar could use his money in the near future if other avenues dry up, that is a positive. I still think Globalstar will retrace into the teens, but I missed a great buying opp and a great trade. I think Globalstar will trade at 3 to 4 times its current price by year end 2000. I thought I could buy it cheaper as we came closer to launch. I hope my target is hit because I will not buy it here. There is still too much that can happen between now and then.
