You don't have to love a company to invest in it. I don't care much for AOL-the service, but I have heavily invested in their stock. AOL shares made me rich. Oh, well, not really rich, but I made a good amount of money on it.

As for our GNET, someone suggested on this board that some manipulations are at work. I personally don't believe it. The current pullback are because of these reasons, in my opinion:

1. Like many other Internet stocks, after a great run-up, we have profit takings.
2. A split, which usually attracts short-term money, is more than a month away.
3. Internet stocks are driven by news releases. The last time GNET had a news release was May 4. This company should do more in selling themselves. I hope GNET does not pick up Paul Allen's personality: quiet, shy, and like to do things behind the curtain.

If you believe in Paul Allen's cable vision, then hang in there. You will be rewarded.
