Quick thoughts (is that my tennis partner honking in the driveway?)--exclusive alliance to develop properties for either Nickelodeon or USA Networks. Just a guess.

I just returned from the craziness that is E3. First of all Sinistar looked absolutely awesome. 3Dfx had a large screen demo of it at their crowded booth.

Unlike some of the other company's glitzy booths, THQ's seemed much more understated, almost subdued, a lot like Farrell's projections, I guess. A plus is that they are near the West entrance, so they are easy to find in all that madness.

They had a 30% complete version of Felony Pursuit running which looks like it could be a lot of fun. The rep compared it to Psygnosis' Driver, but with much better gameplay and graphics.
I was a little disappointed with Shao Lin. Hopefully, it'll be tweaked before it's released. It was neither faster or prettier to look at than Tekken 3, which is the PS fighting standard. The frame rate is not there yet and the character animations are too blocky and a little choppy at the moment.

Curiously, I didn't see any WCW games running, just a video promo of WWF. Of course, the Rugrats were up on the big screen, which everyone seemed to get a kick out of. They also had Nuclear Strike and Road Rash for the N64 up and running, but they just seemed average at best. No Star Wars either.

I'm leaving out a lot, but I'm still suffering from sensory overload and I'm not talking about the booth babes.....yet. ;)
