Anyone know?.......or able to find out what temperature required to reform hydrogen out of gasoline? I know it's much higher than natural gas or methanol. DaimlerChrysler put gasoline on the backburner to concentrate on methanol.
Maybe SOFC hot enough to do this? Anyone using gasoline in a auto fuel cell sure to be a winner.
Also...in my opinion the fastest way to early fuel cell use is a electric hybrid. All car makers coming out with hybrids running on gasoline/diesel and batteries. Down the road it would be a matter of a 5-6kw? cell to keep the batteries charged and you are already using a electric drivetrain. Maybe a small SOFC running on gasoline?........raisin
