No offense taken Sally. I'm at a disadvantage relative to some other posters on this thread because I don't use Mac software. My original impression of Sherlock was that it was kind of a yawn but my thinking has begun to evolve a bit. Sherlock may be the comparison shopping engine of choice for Mac users and that may eventually translate to $ for Apple. On the other hand, there will probably be hundreds of products for Mac and PC in the near to mid future that offer comparison shopping bots that plug into the desktop. I suppose XML is the big development here. With XMLs data tags for retail, bots including Sherlock will become far more effective at comparison shopping.

Overall I can't imagine that etailing won't become the dominant form of retail buying over time. I'm especially interested in business to business apps like bidding for raw materials and components. Rich
