Vince, what the JV brings to the table is instant credibility. I would have to think this would stabilize the price at a higher level and spur much more interest simply due to the name recognition of the major. What could anyone say negative about an arrangement involving Newmont, Rio Tinto or any other company of this stature? Involving CDCH with the financing of the drilling brings about criticism due to many of the same individuals being involved, and the appearance of a self serving deal. I'm not implying this would be the case, but it would provide much fodder for the likes of WLD, David of O, Minefinder, Fuddle and others whose agenda is to hurt the stock price.
