tim - a comment on averaging down. I have lost a lot of money averaging down for the sake of aaverging down.

I lurk this thread but play mostly volatile stocks.

here is how I do it. IF I have as stock in a loss position I either stop out at a certain point and try and buy it back later. Howwever, a new buy should not be for the sake of buying. It is better to buy on strentgh or technical signals indicating a buy rather to try and "catch a falling knife". Each buy should be an indepoendent decision exclusive of your current position in the stock.

having said all of that, If you absolutely feel this is bottom and I know I have been wrong so many times on picking bottom, the I guess buying is not a bad idea. Good luck and I wanted to pass along my very expensive and painful lessons on averaging down
