P.S. E-Trade still can't manage to handle symbol changes. I have had the same incorrect symbol on my screen for two weeks, along with an unpleasant call from "Jessica" asking me what I was going to do about it? I informed her that I had already made the changes on my "portfolio" screen. All she had to do was copy that. She became miffed, couldn't figure out why the incorrect symbols were still on my "account" screen and said she would get back to me. It's been two weeks. The incorrect symbols are still there! Something about the paperwork that hasn't been sent over yet........

Symbol changes. I gave up waiting for E*Trade to figure out several recent symbol changes and just deleted them from Portfolio Manager. Too bad they won't let us change the symbols manually.

EDIG - you wouldn't win a lawsuit because you could have repurchased those shares any time you wanted before they ran to $3.50. Sad but the responsibility is yours for not maintaining a position.

I had NITE earlier this year at 25 and sold at 22 1/2 for a 10% loss. Didn't rebuy and missed out on 100 points. That's life.

Someone should go to a Federal Judge and ask him to prevent ETrade
from opening new accounts until they can show they are able to service
the ones they have got!!!!
I am in Dublin-Ireland, and apart from being unable to trade yesterday,
because their crappy system was down, I am in my office at 8.05 am
when America is asleep, and Ireland is just waking up, and I can
click on any menu function which comes up like a bullet, but I
cant log on.
Yesterday, I looged on to be told my portfolio was inaccessible,
this morning I cant even log on.
They are in serious ***t!!!!
