and another thing. I remember when Capt Kirk used to post.
Always spouting crap about Pair and how great UTI/CS was.
I was the only one rebuking him. No one else had the
courage I guess. The one thing that people on these boards
should hate is constant spamming of other stocks. YAHOO is
worse, but SI is catching up.

<<where is awre these days. Where is Pair>>

If I recall, AWRE began it's stellar move right after Lucent chose them to provide DSL products under a strategic alliance. This is a powerhouse deal and is akin to a major, sole-source contract to a vendor worth millions. That is why AWRE has soared in the past few months - perception of growth (revenue and earnings).

PAIR has stagnated because they (mgmt, product profile, sales force, etc) have not been able to grow revenues and earnings. As Avidia shows increasing promise, along with continuing unit and revenue increases in the PG Family, The Street is beginning to realize they may be growing revenues and earnings again. This has resulted in PAIR price moving up the past month or so.

Sure, PAIR will dip as the stock sells off from being overbought, and with general market conditions. But the long-term trend is up. That is why many here on SI are advocating that PAIR will continue to rise. Besides, most have taken the lumps handed out over the past year and it's nice to just see an underdog get up, fight, and maybe win.

Mark,

You said play the trend. The TREND is up, why do you want to sell??
One down day doesn't mean jack!! Look around the techs, except for
IBM big blue, most stocks were down due to profit taking.

P.
