David.. Great digging. I have been trying to find out something on the Hamilton Group for ages. Not sure if your Hamilton Group is our Hamilton Group but it sounds about right. When the news first came out a couple people (myself included) thought the Hamilton Group they were referring to was hamiltongroup.net However it was later confirmed by the company that this wasn't the same firm they are dealing with. The Hamilton Group you mentioned sound like a different company from the above mentioned. What are the odds that there are 3 Hamilton Groups is the venture capital area? a venture capital firm specializing in commercialization of military applications This sure doesn't sound internet in nature but could easily be telecommunications which is also a hot area these days. Strange, because this is what I found: This is from a company called PRICE Communications and it trades on the AMEX with a ticker symbol: PR. It is currently at $14. Included in other assets are investments in notes receivable, which include the following: During 1996, the Company loaned $1,000 to the Hamilton Group LLC ("Hamilton") in the form of a Promissory Note bearing interest at the rate of 6% and payable on December 31, 1999. The maturity date is extendable at the Maker's option until December 31, 2001. A Director of the Company is a participant in Hamilton. During 1997, the Company set up a reserve for the full amount of this note. I wonder if Steven Price and Robert Price (the pres/ceo of Price Communications) are related? Jordex involved in the communication/internet industry???? david
