Microsoft has certainly changed in the last week. All of a sudden they are spending the cash horde on multi-country cable companies and access. What is this all about? What a change in behavior,do they know something about the DOJ suit? I have been complaining about how MSFT seems to have been hampered and timid the last 17 months because of the lawsuit. Now it's like they are saying either we don't care or we know the outcome and let's carry on.
I hope they know what they are doing. Cable?? Just thinking out loud.

Morgan;

I agree with you 100%. My concern here is that is we extend your analogy, consider what happens to a helium balloon if you leave it chained up too long...the original helium dissipates, and all you are left with is the helium that you keep pumping in.

Jordan

MSFT featured on CNBC this a.m. - all positive - especially their move in to cable.

- having said that, I still expect MSFT to go down today as it seems there's a flood of insider selling by the biggest shareholders

"[microsoft has] been basing for awhile"

i understand you to mean a narrow trading range. if so, isn't this low volatility?
