Now, as far as my English is concerned, for someone who only speaks one language, and who is completely anonymous, once more I find your comments were completely uncalled for, but given that I consider your judgement to be feeble and dubious, I don't give a sh*t about your opinion of my English. I don't recall having heard you recommend a long term investment, probably because you're afraid to play the other side, that of long instead of short, or worse, you're incapable of choosing winners.

ATI NAMED AS A TOP 50 HIGH-TECHNOLOGY COMPANY BY RED HERRING MAGAZINE

ATI NAMED AS A TOP 50 HIGH-TECHNOLOGY COMPANY BY RED HERRING MAGAZINE

Red Herring Editors Select ATI as One of the Top Public Companies
building the Electronic Economy

TORONTO, May 17 /CNW-PRN/ - ATI Technologies (TSE:ATY; NASDAQ:ATYT)
announced today that it has been selected to the Red Herring 50, Red
Herring magazine's annual list of the top public companies in the
technology industry. Featured in the June 1999 Digital Universe issue,
the Red Herring 50 honors those companies that have defined new
standards, forged the most influential new business models, and
developed products and services that will change the way business gets
done.

''We hold technology companies to an entirely different set of
standards. Standards that prove to us that they are innovators, agents
of change, and leaders truly affecting the construction of the digital
economy,'' said Jason Pontin, editor of Red Herring. ''We see that the
emerging networked economy is one that requires vision, innovation, and
proven expertise, and we think our list encapsulates the companies that
have put these qualities to work.''

''ATI is committed to making computer graphics an integral part of
everyday life,'' said KY Ho, President and CEO, ATI Technologies Inc.
''Our System-On-a-Chip (SOC) and Shared Memory Architecture (SMA)
technologies will provide low cost computing solutions, and bring
computer-based consumer electronic appliances into every room in the
home.''

 How They Ranked
In order to accurately represent the technology industry and its
key players, the Red Herring editors divided the industry according to
its various sectors -- giving more weight to those sectors that they
felt most essential in building tomorrow's digital universe. Using a
system of metrical and subjective comparisons, the list highlights
companies in the following markets: communications equipment,
communications services, wireless equipment and services, software,
systems manufacturers, consumer computing, media, electronic commerce,
and biotechnology.

In choosing its companies, the Red Herring looked at criterion from
vision, management, and innovative business strategies to the track
record of the company's venture capitalists, its marketing techniques
and the strength of it partnerships -- all of which impact the
companies' abilities to affect change in the new economy.

A complete list of the 1999 Red Herring 50 Companies is available in
the June issue of Red Herring and can be found on the World Wide Web at
