The buying today at prices of $27 and over was impressive. Many, many big blocks took just apart the ask rows. Today was not the sort of strength you sell into. Hopefully the alliance is perceived to be a strong one. If so the stock will be over 30 next week IMO.

Report from the Western Front:

Sinistar is awesome -- simply put this is a very cool game -- and it stands out -- THQ has finally got a top notch entry in the PC market place. Can't wait to get this one.

Rugrats Studio TourN64 -- THQ delivers again -- better then the Playstation version -- stronger graphics -- this will sell well -- and the display at E3 is getting a lot of attention.

Road Rash and Nuclear Strike -- these both looked good to me -- but they did not seem to be much different than the earlier released versions of these games -- but I think they will be strong on the N64 platform -- not overselling -- I do not think they will be up there with any of the WCW sales -- but will do well -- good game play -- as soon as I saw the Nuclear Strike game -- I remembered why I liked the game in the past.

Shao Lin -- Forget the doubts -- this one is a very good fighting game -- not the greatest but very very strong and the multiplayer option will help a great deal -- it has some faults but its not finished yet -- still I think this one is looking strong as well.

There wasn't much in the way of insight into the WWF at the show --

Pursuit looks great IMO as does the 8 Ball pool game -- all in all THQ is showing that we continue to move forward on quality-- You guys will not believe how good Sinistar looks. And everygame shows clear improvement from THQ's previous offerings -- even the duds (and I really did not see any) are better than our lesser games of the past.

And yes true to form -- Brian and the gang have skimed -- its a very spartan exhibit compared to most on the floor -- the point gets made without exuberant lavish spending -- no blue smoke or mirrors -- just solid offerings that makes me confident that our long string of solid and growing earnings will continue for the next 3 or 4 quaters.

I agree with Henry on some of the flaws -- but many of the versions are only 30% complete -- Sinistar is leaps and bounds better than where we were just a while ago with PAX Imperia -- The difference is stunning -- Damn I may have to hold my THQ shares longer than I had been planning.

This is just my quick take on the action today -- will take a closer look tomorrow and update accordingly.

Looks like the market is taking notice as well.

What's the possibility of Hasbro + THQI? Hasbro has Nicktoons, THQI has Rugrats and expertise in console games and 3D technology.

btw, Creative's Unified may give 3Dfx some pressure.

Jeffrey: I got the p/e info from bigChart as you can see from the links. What's your source for you EPS data? Are your figures includes any special charges? I am relatively new to THQI (in for 1.75 years only).
