Dimethaid has cash for 11 months (if I remember correctly what I read). If a financially significant deal doesn't materialize or is delayed, the company's air supply (cash) will run out. True. I'm not opposed to the placement in conjunction with the NASDAQ listing and thats just to get more attention (although I'm sure they'll put the money to good use). A share offering late in the year to ensure further cash would have bothered me even less because its more functional. Being there and needing to do that would bother me. I put the probability of this at zero. But how do we assess (besides infrequent releases and interviews) management savvy and performance to know if we should be long term investors or gambling traders. I agree. The management team is absolutely critical to me. It takes time to assess that (their character and ability). Since it can only be assessement, its difficult to be objective. They've added excellant people on the board, have been consistently serious and honest, their level of integrity has caused shareholder frustration, and now their IR person has come out and said they're going to get everything done they said they would. Long term shareholders know better than I how long this has taken; but, even they haven't mass exited. Peter, I'm not trying to deflect the fact that timing matters. That's what the pope kept saying to Michelangelo. Me, I expect a whole new bunch of things to talk about next Friday night.
