I think you will be swearing more today Eric love.

Major pullbacks today folks. Watch stop points. Could be a good time to add those favorite stocks on pullbacks.

The DJBB told us a long time ago this was coming. I hope Tommy tells them all about it today!

Hi Eric,

Little League and life has caused a drastic cutback in my SI posting for a while now. I hope to contribute more as we move into summertime. I hope you and all on the thread are doing well. Just wanted to say hi and and update you on CMB, a stock I mentioned that I liked a while back. I still contribute to AOL's less populated CMB board (there are two of them) and I keep them updated on CMB's p&f on a regular basis. I wrote something up this morning and I hope some here might find it useful. The CMB chart story might have a larger message about my feeling on interest rates if you look hard enough. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon:

Moving Averages:

50 day MA: $83.17 (when CMB broke this short term MA to the downside, it indicated short term weakness)
150 day MA: $73.04
200 day MA: $68

Long Term BuLlish Support Line (BLSL): $71

Relative Strength (RS): Reversed to a down column of O's this week. RS chart remains long term bullish but is now short term bearish.

High Pole Top at $89 in March.

The weight of the p&f evidence points to a lower stock price for the short term. A move to $77 would be the third consecutive sell signal and would be bearish. There's short term support that has held twice already by way of the BeaRish Support Line (BRSL) at $75. A move to $77 would indicate a further move lower, to the 150 day MA or thereabouts. The aforementioned BLSL is crucial at $71.
Looks lower short term, however, I believe a very good buying opportunity is awaiting in the low $70's. The currently weak RS gives me pause, however, CMB gave a long term RS Buy signal in February and these signals tend to last 2 - 2 1/2 years on average.

Your charting pal,
Bruce
