Rick, If this is the case (and you make a good one), how does a major house come out with a strong buy recommendation on this stock? Aren't the analysts for these firms all CFA's? Don't you think they have considered some of the same arguments as you?

Mark

I was just curious if you got burned on your last short. However, I agree that this is a good trading stock (volatility and all). I did pretty good in a week and a half by going long shares and selling those expensive (covered) calls...bailed out yesterday...I'm happy. Good luck, whichever way you go.

I agree. The connotation of his query is that it's "you" (short) against "him" (long).

A better question would have been: How'd you do on your short?

Rick, res- << But my guess is that most USWB investors haven't clue 1 about any of the valuation metrics. The level of analysis that most make is this: uh, internet related, it's hot, I think I'll buy some.>>

Gee Rick, thanks for being here and trying to save us longs from our own stupidity. :-)

It's been really painful being a long and living with my analysis since the IPO. <gg>

It never ceases to amaze me how many fool proof exact market timing traders there are on SI. Of course they never acknowledge when and if they've made a trade. But I'm sure their all honest and they never make an incorrect move.

Strange though how you never see one of the Forbes richest 500 list though isn't it? :-)
