At the same time Gerstner was becoming CEO of IBM Michael Dell and DELL were being sued by everyone because he had lost huge amounts of money thru FX trades as hedge vehicles. The price of the stk was 23. All companies get broken and then someone rides to the rescue. The guys who fix these companies are worth the price. I hope CPQ chooses well.

Market down DOW down over 100! Profit taking and negative reaction to anticipated announcement of increases in CPI (attributed to increases in oil prices). Hope CPQ can hold 26. Otherwise I think we could have seen a jump up of 1 or 1 1/2 points. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday.
