Paul - Exactly! The long, steady move upward followed by what I call the "cliff" is the classic manipulated chart. The cliff occurs when the promoters or crooked MMs pull the plug and drop the bids through the floor. For a recent example, see UBRT, which had two cliffs on consecutive days and is one of the worst cases of manipulation I've seen. Also, check the charts several years ago for MPEG, CSMA and TSIS for other great examples. I have a feeling we'll soon see some fireworks with MODS, too.

BTW you may be right about BEAT. I'll keep an eye on it. -Eric
