Justification?! If the Fed doesn't respond to
this early and unexpected core increase, it
would be totally irresponsible! You can bank
on a 25bp increase in the FF target Tuesday.
If they don't "adjust to market conditions" and
"tighten preemptively", the bonds will sell off
another couple points next week. And bonds might
drop further anyway if the stock market doesn't
slow down and oil moves back to $19.
