Kit, How can you tell when Micron is spinning BS (for you to grind?)? When they say anything. <g>

"Volatility" is starting to remind me of "Extreme Prejudice." The latter term had nothing to do with racism or bigotry. <g>

I loved the fact that higher DRAM prices merely "helped" MU show a wee profit last quarter. If the reporters accept that without realizing that that very temporary hiccup was the sine qua non of MU's phony eps, they are sad cases.

More goes into MU's fake eps than just DRAM prices. There is how much they can hold in inventory without the suckers noticing it. There is how much they can ship to MUEI at high prices, for MUEI to hold in unfinished goods inventory without the suckers noticing. There is how many one time gains and charges they can make up to hide the true numbers. One time charges are noted on a special line; one time gains go right to reducing SG&A and boosting the eps numbers.

The good news is, this quarter is so bad and MU is so overpriced, it makes no difference.
