One experience that I have had that I have tried to bring to the thread is that if you believe you are weak and forces out there in the world are aligned against you (a conspiracy) you will experience a self-fulfilling prophecy. I come from the never give up, never give in, never, never, never camp. Markets are humbling, confusing, even inexplicable at times...but I won't succumb to blaming someone else if I make the wrong judgment. If it is so clear that everyone on wall street would pump this bubble up and it's all a conspiracy...then where the heck were our brains not going along for the ride. I would gladly accept error in that instance and learn from it for the future, rather than cursing the "conspiracy".
