Hi Bobby,

<<<<most newer systems in past twenty years shouldn't have the problem

A very large system that I worked in prior to retirement was non compliant right up to mid 1999 but was remediated by CGI with new software at a premium cost to the customer. IMO many or most systems did not deal with y2k until the last 5 years and further, it may take a minimum of 3 years from planning to completion.....this will leave a lot of companies unfinished in their y2k preparations. Government is another matter, they appear to be behind significantly, especially in the third world.
