<<Can you tell me the meaning of DD>>

In the real world the English "DD" refers to "due diligence", meaning to thoroughly research a company's financials; its accounting practices; managers; employment policies; the history and background of its board members; ditto its executives; past, present, and future products; its research & development personnel and their past education, skills, and activities; inspecting on-site corporate and operational plants; researching land ownership, patent protections, the quality of claimed assets, the specific and detailed terms of company liabilities; the history of past, present, and projected lenders and their practices... and so on.

For internet stock junkies, DD means clicking a couple of times to see the latest 30-day stock price chart.
