Mogul, You have it all wrong. Generally speaking, in a down market, you take profits on shorts which is what I always do and did today. I made an exception and shorted PCLN. By the same token, in a up market I sell my longs (ex., sold 2/3 of NETP yesterday and the day before, sold some IDTC also). It's called trading for profits my friend. Most of all, maintain a well balanced between long and short positions to weather volatile days.

Regards,

Tom
