Craig, first: Not all MPEG4 is created equally, the MPEG4 codec NCT uses, which was developed by Sarnoff optimized for Low Bandwidth. Meaning it is designed to deliver the best qualtiy over modem and Dial-up conections. Second: The functionality and opration of the applictions seems to be superior to any other application currently available. Take the video broacast for example, NCT's application uses a prorietery technique that allows real time live broadcast into the internet. Encoding is performed on the fly without any delay. That in addition to a Proprietary Multicasting Repeater technology creates an innovative way to allow unlimited number of people to view a single broadcast regardless of the internet connection speed of the transmitter. Sorry I don't have better details, but this stuff is pretty much propritary and not for all our competitors to know. Not that it would mean that much to me anyway. Art
