OT Your comments re: margin hit close to home...I too have learned the lesson, 'gone through rehab'...cost me my position in SFE which I sold 'when the headlights hit me'. It was a $55 buy-in position that I wish I had kept, obviously...waiting to buy-in again off margin but $55 may be a long way off...

Now off all margin...sleep alot better.

Your note was both evocative and provocative, and as usual much appreciated. However, you neglect to mention one benefit of this powerful "drug". Margin is quite useful in that it permits one to trade options...if properly done this can be quite profitable, and even relatively safe.
