Flying from Key West to Miami in a tin can, the cockpit door kept swinging open, which was terribly disconcerting to the pilots for it revealed that they were frantically attempting to stuff back in the various gauges that were falling out.

Of course, as a passenger, I knew my safety was favored by statistics.
