But do you know at the date you started your calculations whether they where long the stock and have just unwound their position.Just a plausible explanation.

No, I don't know where to find that information... If they were long and the volume is doubled, that would make it well within the float.

The time and sales reports show each individual transaction with quantity and price. Why would they double the quantity on these? I can even locate my original purchase of MRPS and it shows the correct quantity...

There are no trades for 1400 shares anytime that week... This would lead me to believe that the quantities are correct (but I could still be missing something :-).

Sorry, I was not intending to start a conspiracy theory <g>... I was just trying to see what I might be able to learn about the movement of the price in comparison to the actual buys/sells.
