mb, consider this... IMO, the world is in deflation, but individual countries experience inflation as their currencies implode... for example... Asia in 1997. the entire planet panicked into US treasuries last Summer (making a top).. now the flow of funds has switched the other way. if the dollar is headed for a disaster... the long bond will TANK as foreigners sell. "inflation" is just our catalyst to set everything in motion
