I rode both the PVN and COF PUTS up pretty early on. Now when things go back to normal whether today or next week (could another gap down next week so I'll probably hold).. then you get back in because those are fabulous stocks in good times. I think I should try to find the posts ons SI when Greenspan decided to lower the rates, if anyone can get me the date I will back track in silicone and go over the strategies of that time. I did just the opposite, stocked up on PVN and then COF and they were up ultimately 30 points. It was a very special day that day. I don't recall how many days I held them but they were great. These are strategies I will share will you as soon as this development comes to a conclusion or even as it continues.

As for the LCOS calls, I got in as soon as I could but I missed the run up to about 6 because I was with the COF and PVN which I just took , but the time I looked they were trading at 4 3/8 * 4 3/4.. so I sold 10 the calls at 4 1/2 ultimately. So again it could have been done better. Meanwhile the ATHM which I was nervous about I sold losing the gain and now the gain is back with more. You do the best you can under the circumstances but at the end of the day if you are ahead, then it's fine.. and now I'm ahead.

I think its way to early to consider getting into CMB, COF or PVN, I'd rather go long on something else.
