But they will have to depend on the K6 family for quite a while. And that while will be an unprofitable while. So the K7 better be a BIG hit. Real BIG. And there are good arguments that it won't be terribly profitable at .25 so you are really dependent on Dresden coming up quickly and effectively with a borrowed process. Could happen. Might not happen. And till it happens quarterly reports will be lossy.

I characterize AMD now as an interesting speculation. It certainly is interesting and it certainly is a speculation. Some oil explorations strike oil. Some come up dry. AMD has traditionally come up a day late and a dollar short. I am personally not crazy about the odds your facing but good luck.
