I agree. Me too. Note that you don't need CLIK! to reach the above. In fact, CLIK! will seriously hamper your ability to reach your $300 (or in my case $200) price point.

All I want is a cheap camera, ONE flash card, and a EASY (doesn't have to be fast) way to get pictures to my PC. CLIK! adds an extra step, adds extra cost, is cumbersome, and is probably unreliable. (my opinion).

Usenet ORB Party!

Well, the Usenet reports are flowing in and ORB Rocks! Here's some posts:

Does The Castlewood ORB 2.2 Gb is worth buying ? Is it really faster and more secure than the Jaz ???

Absolutely Nik!

I currently own the external parallel port Orb and I have an external SCSI presently on back-order. Though I've only had my Orb for a month, I haven't experienced any major problems/flaws that plague owners of Iomega products (i.e. Click of Death, corrupted media). IMO, the Orb blows away the Jaz in reliability AND price. As far as speed is concerned, once I receive my external SCSI, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I highly recommend the purchase of the Orb instead of the Jaz. I've had less hassles with the Orb than with the Jaz.

There you have it, ORB is gaining ground on Iomega really quickly. Speaking of quick, PC World confirmed that the IDE ORB was FASTER than the SCSI Jaz2...just wait till the SCSI ORB comes out! This ORB should be EVEN FASTER!

Iomega gets left in the dust yet again!
