kcmike, you misunderstood my point.

I did not suggest buying puts now for several months out
on CMGI. I suggest to buy put in late summer instead of
dumping all the shares for the fear of Sept/Oct crash.

It would be crazy to buy Oct put today. The premium is
TOOOOOO high.

For high volatility internet stocks, there is no best way
to hedge. You just have to keep your faith in this new
revolution. And, occasionally, buy some 1 at most 2 months
out puts if you think there is a high chance of meltdown
in site:)
