Mike, usually advances in the ultimate oscillator during consolidation periods would hint at an upward break, but the advance has been muted, so i was guessing we might get a false break up, followed by the true break down. normally the safest way to play this would be via a straddle, i.e. buying of call & put options at the same strike, so the direction of the breakout won't matter. unfortunately premiums on NDB options are very high, so the ensuing move would have to be both swift and very large(which it will probably be anyway, judging from past volatility of the stock).

regards,

hb
