<<If that is your take on the state of the gold market, are you in?>>

Nope, not any more. It took me some loses at the poker table and some worthless stock certificates to discover how the game is played and that the deck is stacked.

<<Shouldn't you get out now before the "manipulators" push the price
down to $200/oz? >>

Yep, I did. Other than a few gold options now and then as I watch the manipulators do their thing.

<<Now THAT is MY definition of a "manipulated" market. And I don't want to see that. However, that sort of policy becomes much more acceptable when you have the likes of GATA whining about manipulation when the price is low.>>

Now let me see if I understand this. If the manipulation is covert, it isn't real manipulation. Only when the manipulators start using obvious full-scale media propaganda, confiscation and assassination (character and otherwise) does it amount to manipulation. Well if plan B goes into effect I hope you aren't holding any gold or you might become one of the whiners you dislike so much.

I guess we all have different levels at which we will acknowledge that something exists. Funny, even you are considering Plan B manipulation as being o.k. I'm not surprised, because that is the new millennium consciousness which is emerging (as so clearly demonstrated by our "democratic" leader) as we skip blindly over the cliff into the 21st century. Some people wonder why great societies always fail as we watch our own rot from within.

The fiat markets will crash because they are made from smoke and mirrors and lies and manipulations and the creators of the illusions will deny any responsibility as they create scapegoats to divert the angry hoards from themselves.

<<They will always be the ones who have their wealth confiscated, one way or another, by "democratic" governments. It is for THAT reason that I want this talk of manipulation to go away.>>

I know, denial is bliss, and how can you rest comfortably in it if someone keeps waking you up. Sorry, it comes in one big package. The manipulators get to lie, cheat and steal, the manipulatees get to whine and moan and I get to watch and learn about human nature and maybe make a few bucks along the way.
