Gary, I was referring to ATM core or edge.Not routers.
With CSCO ability( as a large company)to leverage its business, they should dominate core market, unless technical aspects are more important.
BTW, I think I,Chambers is stretching his imagination telling analysts that edge opportunity are 10-20X compare to core.
If you look at current ATM market structure it is more in single numbers. Also margins are lower then in the core.

Again, I am still talking only about ATM.

I am hearing a lot from friends in ROBC that CSCO is buying its way into service providers market.
If this is true, and I have lots of support for this, they can do it for some time, but I doubt CSCO has enough deep pocket
to support it, specially when comes to very large telcos.
