RESEARCH ALERT - PaineWebber cuts Dell (NASDAQ:DELL)

Reuters, Friday, May 14, 1999 at 15:49

NEW YORK, May 14 (Reuters) - PaineWebber on Friday said the
brokerage cut its rating on Dell Computer Corp. (NASDAQ:DELL) to
neutral from attractive in an intraday move that comes ahead of
the company's first quarter earnings report early next week.
-- PaineWebber computer analyst Don Young was not
immediately available to comment on the move.

(Because he's still making up lies so he can STEAL shares from innocent people!)

-- The Wall Street analysts consensus is for the computer
maker to report earnings of 16 cents per share for its fiscal
2000 first quarter ended in April 1999, up from 11 cents per
share in the quarter ended in Apirl 1998.
-- The Round Rock, Texas-based company is due to report
after the close of trading Tuesday.
