LINUX comes with interface that is point and click just like Windows but LINUX suite is much better that Windows because it is project oriented. With Windows you have to close one document b4 you can open another. You must close Word b4 you open Excel, for instance.

With LINUX suite you can run many documents at once. LINUX is faster and more reliable. LINUX is a version of UNIX which is what people use who have to run critical projects. You find UNIX on your high-end work stations. SUNW, HWP, IBM ~ all run UNIX.

Housemate installed his LINUX suite last week. He's busy reading LINUX manuals when he has time.

Don't hold your breath for Windows 2000. It's behind schedule. It has a zillion lines of code so it is very likely your system could crash even more than it does with Win 95.

The entire LINUX kit plus an entire suite cost $100.00. When I have a chance I'll tell you what is in suite.

Sue or a technical support person might have to install if for you.

I have to go into housemate's office and have a look at his.

Actually, he has two word processors. He can use either Word Perfect or the one that comes with the office suite.

Next time you give Peanut a bone that big why don't you take his picture.
