Charles, Kash:

<<Breakeven revenue is a function of ASPs and margins. The $830M break-even number quotes assumes a $79 ASP and some %GM (I do not remember the number from the conf call but I think it was 30%+). Given AMDs legal troubles, I would guess that the $830 number is sandbagged.>>

I believe that Fran Barton said in the Q1 CC that Q2's breakeven point is 850 million.

Toni Beckham later verified that number and further clarified that 850 million breakeven is for Q2 only - a one quarter event.

Someone speculated (and I think that speculation makes sense) that the extra millions beyond the normal breakeven point are being used to fund the chipset vendors and other infrastructure partners for the upcoming K7.

<<From what I gather they are ahead of schedule on K7 and the launch is likely before the first week of June.>>

Are you sure, Charles, first week of JUNE?
