Thanks for the clarification. But given my density when it comes to tech analysis, may be you can help out with some details:

The following 3 year graph will show you how the 36 level was support during '97 and resistance during '98 and probably will be support during '99.

The graph you show indicates what you say if you see it on a weekly basis. If I change it to a monthly chart, the support/resistance goes away. Also, is there any reason beyond historical buying/selling patterns (which we know are arbitrarily based on arbitrary perceptions stemming from arbitrary analyst recommendations -G-) to support the theory of support that you propound?

The mph rate with which DRAM is headed down seems to indicate a slice through to low thirties next week. But then, whoever can claim that there is any rationale to all this?
