HP will do well. Their CEO went on record, when 5fer was spreading his lies about the industry, that HWP was doing quite well.

I think volume will be somewhat low on Monday and Tuesday leading up to FOMC. Most money will stay on the sideline.

However, when DELL announces great numbers then HWP's earnings will have a compounding effect on DELL. HWP will offer additional evidence that the PC is not dead and CPQ is.

What I don't get is why anybody thinks CPQ will bounce back. No way!!! Poor execution, no direction, poor morale (Option pay worthless), an antiquated distribution channel, major albatros (DEC) and a hungry little company in Austin stealing business and talented people. This is not something that will be corrected in a week, month, or even several quarters.

Anyway, enjoy your weekend.
