What happened to the touts, period? This has been some of the most fun reading I have had in a long time. At first, i thought they had just "fallen in love" with HITT, then it became apparent they were much worse than that, probably paid to shill the stock. But now they have all gone quiet. How sad. KLN

Dear trader14U, can someone tell me what happened to that crummy tout bob sims??? I'm afraid an apology may be in order. I have been working for some time on software to model the behavior of posters on online bulletin boards, or OBBs. I've gotten closer to my goal of creating a simulation program that credibly mimics the interactions of certain classes of posters. My first experiment has been on this board, with version 3 of the second of my obb sims (in the logon, I tinkered with the acronym to make it pronounceable; call it poetic license). Obviously, I have a problem with repetitive loops. Also, I am a long way from achieving credible interaction -- the algorithm for assimilation of new information was basically malfunctioning during my entire test series. I thought that I did well in the defensive subroutines, with a nice touch of whine, but TLC would be a better judge of whether or not it was art. Those that know me have perhaps noted my keen interest in human behavior. Now it is more obvious why I would have an interest in such a hobby; it dovetails in nicely with this project. See if you can catch me out on Version 4. Ah, it just occurred to me, there may be more simulations out there besides mine. You may ALL be simulations for all of me... if so, the repeat loop exits definitely need work.
