Thanks for your response, Emile. I know that the complete Bible is for us but not all of it is too us or about us as Gentiles.

<<"The Old and New Testaments are ONE unified and integrated entity revealing the love and salvation of God through his Son Jesus Christ. All Scriptures point to Christ. He is the beginning and the end. All Scriptures were given by divine inspiration to teach us about salvation, righteousness and correct belief.">>

The Lord Jesus was born under the law of Moses. (Galatians 4:4) When He ministered to Israel, and it was exclusively to them (Matthew 15:24), everything He said and did was according to this law (Matthew 5:17). The law of Moses was given to Israel 1500 years earlier, and it regulated the whole life of the Jew as well as the Nation of Israel.
God's good news to Israel was called the Gospel of the Kingdom. Various miracles attended its preaching and remission of sins was by water baptism. The feast days, the various commandments, the many sabbaths were all part of the Jew's religion which is called Judaism.

All my best regards,

"The Protestant Reformation produced a number of giants in the faith, among whom was Miles Coverdale, who gave us these practical instructions for studying the Word of God:

<IMPORTANT>It shall greatly help ye to understand Scripture if thou mark not only what is spoken or written, but of whom and to whom, with what words, at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what goeth before and what followeth after. "

In other words, while all of the Bible is for us, it is not all written directly to us. For example, in the Old Testament God commanded His people that they were to observe the law of the sabbath. On the seventh day (Saturday) of each week those under this regulation were not permitted to buy or sell, gather sticks, kindle a fire, prepare a meal, do any type of work or journey much more than a mile (Ex. 31:12-17; 35:3). Those who dared to violate this holy ordinance were to suffer the death penalty. Thus, the sabbath was to be a day of physical rest, which foreshadowed the rest Israel will enjoy in the millennium.

Forgive me, but I must ask: Are you observing the sabbath as commanded in the Word of God? Needless to say, the answer is rather obvious.

"The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword."

God has been very clear in showing us the way to live in this Dispensation of Grace. He delineates and divides His Word in such a way that we can know for sure what we should do and not do. God told Paul to introduce a new way that brought Gentiles and Jews together in an unheard of system of living and worshipping. Jesus Christ came to become Peace for all people, not just Israel. Christ made the two, Gentile and Jew, one. He destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility. Christ abolished in His flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace. This is a message that only one man preached. That man was Paul. It's the message God wants us to follow. God does not want us slipping and sliding through Old Testament rules and regulations. We are under the authority of Grace, not Law. Christ abolished the law and its commandments.

Everything you and I and every other Christian need to know for the Grace Life are found in the writings of Paul. That's where we receive our power and direction. Paul often quotes the Old Testament and shows how we should understand it in light of the Gospel of the Grace of God. Look to him for that guidance and you'll never go wrong in your understanding of all Scripture and your life in Christ.

You say that like you know you are right.

I find that amusing.

Why won't you answer my questions, Emile?
