God you have a talented dog. I could never train my dogs to do either. I remember teaching my Lab to get the paper, when it was too deep in the box for him to reach he tore off the box. My big dogs were spoiled and knew if I was having steak there was one cooking for them too. A whistle too would stop them at 300 yards and they would take a hand signal on which way to run.
