Makes you wonder if the claim that NATO bombing exacerbates the exodus of refugee does have an element of truth.

The report says these people went on a 10 days of hiding. What are they hiding from? I hope there are more independent report regarding what's really going on.

rrman,

It's called stonewalling because Milosevic was responsible for bringing the ethnic hatred to a head in the first place.

Every action has a reaction, which then creates another counteraction and so on.... Rambulliet did not come about in a vacuum either. By the time we had reached that point, there was too much ill-will to deal with and the Kosovars required some hope for autonomy or independence in 3 years time.

When you deliver ultimatums, you'd better be willing to face the repercussions. Milosevic delivered his as well; that Kosovars would remain politically unrepresented, unassimilated minorities in their own homeland.

Milosevic is trying to back that up and we're trying to prevent it. If Kosovars forever remain refugees, Milosevic has won. And that, my friend goldsnow, will have political repercussions for years to come in regions we've never bothered to worry about before (including Europe prime).

Regards,

Ron
